Stephanie Marcelle- Nastershum- September 2016
Created by a Mother of
Two - Nastershum is a children's clothing line who's pieces come together at a
dining room table. Every item is carefully crafted and sewn by the owner, Stephanie Marcelle, in her home in Tennessee. Beginning as a creative outlet, Nastershum has grown to
become much more...each piece is unique in its fabric choice, stitching, and
assembly. Stephanie often uses up cycled and heirloom fabrics and
accessories to craft each clothing item. This uniqueness and craftsmanship has gained the following
from many fashion blogs and European publications including stylemepretty.com, Babiekins Magazine, and
KIDS french fashion magazine. Stephanie has also been recognized as
Knoxville fashion weeks emerging designer. You can find her designs at Schrivers through the month of
September and online at nastershum.com

Raquel Kennedy-Roy - August & July 2016
Hi! My name is Raquel Kennedy-Roy and I am a full time art teacher at Maryville High School and adjunct art instructor at Carson-Newman University. I am also a mother of two boisterous, loud, (and maybe) extra wild boys that keep me moving non-stop. They are probably the reason of this little "conglomeration" of random little pieces of quick canvas and acrylic paintings. There are a few "serious" fine arts pieces I've been able to achieve also since I've become a mother, but most of the time of its not a quick painting, it's not happening! I've always loved art since I was a little girl growing up in Puebla, Mexico. I love to paint with bright colors and I love to paint landscapes and flowers because of where I grew up. However, since living in the south for the last 15 years, there's a few things that have inspired me here also- especially Mason jars. So I hope you enjoy this random assortment of fine and "for fun" paintings.

HAZEL + HUCK - OCTOBER 2016
We are cousins, best friends, and moms to four kids three and under. Growing up nine hours apart, we spent several weeks together each summer and were always more like sisters than cousins. One of our favorite things to do as kids was to wear matching outfits (in retrospect, many were quite embarrassing!). Now that we both live in Maryville with our families, we like to dress our children (two boys and two girls) in coordinating outfits as well. We started making monogrammed and appliqued clothing for our kids and had so much fun along the way that Hazel + Huck was formed in 2015 and has been growing ever since.
While we started as a children’s monogram and applique business, we’re constantly adding new boutique lines. We strive to offer brands that are high quality, classic yet fun, and reasonably priced, the kinds of clothes we like to buy for our kids. Whether it’s outfits for family pictures or every day lunch bags for preschool, we hope you’ll find items that are special to you and the important little ones in your life. We are excited to have just launched our website in the hopes of making our lines more accessible to you. We hope you’ll check us out this month at Schriver’s or on our website any time at www.hazelandhuck.com!
